The Wellington Hotel expands its horizons with an incredible rooftop urban vegetable garden, the largest of its kind in the world. After traveling to cities including Paris and New York, our President, Manuel Moratiel, noted the importance of urban gardens within haute cuisine – and hastened to export this idea here to Madrid. Implementing a rooftop vegetable garden on the hotel required a great deal of effort; access to the roof from the street is not easy, and the garden had to be carefully planned so as to ensure that the roof could support its weight. This process, along with the selection of seeds, lasted several months. The result was worth it: 14 plots of organic farming.
Goizeko Wellington is the result of the culinary union between Jesús Santos and Chef Abel Martellotti, and serves innovative and seasonal Basque haute cuisine. Valet parking is available, and we offer a private salon for up to 40 guests. Credit cards are accepted.

The restaurant is open daily from 8:00 am to 00.00 hrs La Llave de Oro also includes a climate-controlled terrace on Velazquez Street, open throughout the year from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm.

Las Raices del Wellington opts for a more casual kitchen, but no less exquisite and unique, offering an attractive and healthy menu created by our Chef, Javier Libreros. Las Raices del Wellington proposes a 5 star menu using products from its urban vegetable garden.
